About the Job
The Managing Principal is a dual-role position focused on both business development and delivery within an executive search firm specializing in private equity-backed software companies. The individual will be responsible for winning new clients, expanding relationships, and driving revenue growth, while personally executing retained search mandates. This remote-based role requires regular travel to London for client and company meetings.
What You'll Do
Core responsibilities and daily activities in this role
Take ownership of revenue generation by identifying, engaging, and winning new clients.
Proactively develop business leads and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Lead client pitch meetings, prepare tailored proposals, and negotiate engagement terms.
Take detailed client briefs, define role criteria, and manage client relationships end-to-end.
Produce polished client-facing documents including Engagement Letters, SOWs, and Reports.
Lead search strategy and execution, conducting research to identify and engage top-tier candidates.
Manage the candidate experience from first contact to successful placement.
Maintain rigorous data standards in RecruitCRM.
