About the Job
We are looking for an ambitious 360 Recruitment Consultant to join our thriving Birmingham office, specialising in the permanent placement of engineering and manufacturing professionals across the Midlands. In this end-to-end role, you will take full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle, from winning new business through proactive candidate sourcing to managing the placement process. You will be stepping into a warm desk with an established client base, giving you the immediate foundation to hit the ground running and start billing from day one.
Our firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality talent solutions, and we need a driven consultant who can maintain these high standards while pushing for continued growth. You will be supported by a highly experienced Resourcer and a dedicated Operations Manager, allowing you to focus purely on relationship building, headhunting, and deal-making. This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative team that genuinely values meritocracy, meaning your earning potential is directly tied to your own effort and results.
What You'll Do
Core responsibilities and daily activities in this role
Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle from initial client engagement and vacancy qualification through to candidate placement and aftercare
Generate new business revenue through strategic cold calling, networking, and leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter to connect with key decision-makers
Conduct thorough candidate interviews, assessing both technical competencies and cultural fit for specific client requirements
Write and present compelling, targeted candidate profiles and shortlists to hiring managers
Negotiate offer terms, salary packages, and fees to ensure successful placements and maximise desk profitability
Maintain and grow existing client accounts through regular account management visits and check-in calls
Utilise the company CRM system to track pipeline activity, manage candidate data, and ensure compliance with UK recruitment legislation
