About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic Contract Manager to lead our innovative additive manufacturing division, based entirely on-site at our Blagoevgrad facility. This unique role sits at the intersection of high fashion, beauty product development, and financial strategy, focusing on the integration of 3D printing technologies to create bespoke packaging and rapid prototyping models. As a part-time leadership position, you will drive project lifecycles from initial financial modelling through to the physical production of cutting-edge cosmetic and fashion components.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational background in managing contract workflows within advanced manufacturing, specifically leveraging 3D printing for delicate or highly customised retail items. You will collaborate closely with our London-based finance team and European design studios to ensure that all physical outputs meet strict aesthetic standards while remaining strictly within budget. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of sustainable, on-demand production in the luxury beauty sector without the commitment of a full-time schedule.
Working in Blagoevgrad, you will oversee a small team of print technicians and material specialists, ensuring that all contractual obligations with our fashion house partners are met with precision. Your strategic oversight will directly influence how we reduce waste, accelerate time-to-market for seasonal beauty launches, and redefine traditional supply chain finance through localized, additive manufacturing processes.
What You'll Do
Core responsibilities and daily activities in this role
Oversee all contract lifecycle management for 3D printed fashion and beauty components, ensuring on-site delivery aligns with partner expectations.
Manage departmental budgets and provide detailed financial forecasting to the London finance team regarding material costs and printer maintenance.
Direct the daily operations of the Blagoevgrad additive manufacturing facility, maintaining optimal uptime for industrial 3D printers.
Collaborate with external fashion and beauty brands to translate intricate design concepts into viable, printable 3D models.
Ensure strict quality control protocols are followed for all cosmetic packaging and wearable prototypes, adhering to industry safety standards.
Negotiate and administer supplier contracts for specialized printing filaments, resins, and biocompatible materials.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to production efficiency, waste reduction, and contract profitability.
Implement health and safety procedures specific to the handling of advanced manufacturing chemicals and high-temperature printing equipment.
